Brake repair service

Your Brakes Are Too Important to Trust to Anyone Else

When you press that brake pedal, you expect your car to stop. That's not the time for guesswork or shortcuts. At Bourque's Automotive, brake service is what we do best. It's literally in our name—our founder started this shop specializing in brakes, and we've perfected the craft over 12+ years.

We see all types of brake issues: squeaky brakes, grinding noises, a spongy pedal, vibration when stopping, or that dreaded dashboard brake light. Whatever symptom you're experiencing, our ASE-certified technicians will diagnose the root cause—not just treat the symptoms.

Here's what sets our brake service apart: we show you the old parts after we remove them. We'll explain exactly what we found and show you what we're replacing. No surprise repairs, no hidden fees. Just honest work done right.

Brake Repair FAQ

Watch for these warning signs: squeaking or grinding noises, a spongy or soft brake pedal, vibration when braking, the car pulling to one side, or the brake dashboard light coming on. If you notice any of these, it's best to get them checked sooner rather than later.
Typically 30,000 to 70,000 miles depending on driving habits, vehicle type, and brake pad quality. Frequent city driving, heavy loads, and aggressive braking wear pads faster. We can check your pad life during any visit.
It depends on rotor condition. If your rotors are still within spec (thick enough and not warped), we can just replace the pads. We'll let you know if rotors need attention during the inspection.
Most brake pad replacements take 1-2 hours. If we're doing rotors, calipers, or a full system service, plan for 2-4 hours. We'll give you a time estimate when you schedule.
Yes! We stand behind our work with a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty on parts and labor for brake repairs. That's our promise to you.
